Sophanith Dith is the founder of XcelTips.com, an educational platform dedicated to practical Microsoft Excel tutorials designed for real work environments. Based in Cambodia, he has more than ten years of professional experience in the finance field, where Excel plays a central role in daily reporting, budgeting, data analysis, and structured financial management.
He holds two Bachelor’s degrees in Finance and English (completed in 2012), combining analytical expertise with clear communication — a foundation that shapes the teaching style of XcelTips.
Through years of hands-on experience, Sophanith has worked extensively with Excel in externally-funded projects in Cambodia, where structured budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance with Government Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Development Partners (DPs) are essential. This real-world exposure influenced the creation of specialized Excel templates for DP-funded projects in Cambodia, along with practical tutorials designed for compliance-based environments.
Rather than focusing only on textbook explanations, his approach emphasizes clarity, accuracy, and practical application. Each tutorial is designed not just to explain how a formula works, but when and why it should be used in professional settings.
